The  ProAlt C has an intelligent integral splitting system.

Multiple alternator inputs and the outputs can be connected to both the primary battery bank (engine starter) and the secondary battery bank (aux/domestic/house) without the need for an external splitting system. The intelligence is manifest by prioritizing the charge to the starter battery in the event of low power. The A2B also provides advanced 4 stage charging to the secondary battery bank.
